Where to buy PTFE bottles in NZ
Hello.
Does anyone know where to buy PTFE bottles in NZ.
As far as I know it's the only plastic that can survive 70% HNO3

all of the nitric acid 70% is sold to me in HDPE bottles and it holds up fine,. I have stored myn for 2 years now and the only change is it has gained
a slightly yellow tint however the nitric acid has stayed the same.

There is a nationwide chain-store in New Zealand called PayLess Plastics, which specializes in plastic and rubber goods. They should have a wide range
of bottles, including ones made of HDPE. They may also have PTFE ones, but being a fluoro-plastic, they would be much more expensive.

PTFE bottles are expensive. It's funny you should mention them actually, because I was just thinking of making my own version of them, budget bottles.
A 50ml PTFE bottle is £24. I can buy the material to make that for about £7.

Yup. Such bottles are very expensive. Though I occasionally see larger sized bottles, (used) being offered on e-bay. They usually cost $20 bucks
or so.
New price? List? Hundreds.
