acetylsalicylic acid without AA?

For the acetylation of salicylic acid to acetylsalicylic acid is always used acetic anhydride.
Believe that it is somehow possible to use acetic acid instead of AA?

You just might be able to get away with using glacial acetic acid, plus a small amount of H2SO4 as a catalyst and to mop up the water of reaction.
