Interactive learning
I have seen an upsurge in the amount of interactive learning packages for Organic Chemistry
I think these are great learning tools and offer good review/revision potential for the student out of lab/lecture time.
I wish these had been available during my time at Univ.
Oxford Uni has an interactive flash site for teaching org mechanisms
here
Univ of Calif, Irvine have the Reaction explorer
here
I see a great untapped potential for AI-led learning here.
Perhaps it will encourage more people to take up the sciences and help dispel the myth about science being boring and geeky.
