Both are fine, so is Cynmar, but the reality is unless you purchase 22L 3 neck flasks you aren't getting put on any watch lists. Do you have any
reason to be paranoid? The truth is you won't get put on a watch list for any basic lab ware or advanced lab ware for that matter and if the
government for some reason had a reason to inspect you they could subpoena a companies records.

This could be a sticky. A sticky for equipment to go alongside the stickies for chemicals.
When searching eBay for something I found these guys:-

Decent glassware in the Uk
Does anyone know of a good glassware supplier in the UK apart from slogging though E-Bay everyday. Some of the suppliers from abroad mentioned above
look good but the postage and delivery time doesn't. A simple distillation set up (not a massive one just more versatile than test tube reactions).
Distillation flask, still-head with thermometer and adapter, leibeg etc would be fine as a start.
Different suppliers seem to have their own quirks (i.e we don't make this/this doesn't fit another manufacturer too well etc). So a pre made kit which
everything will fit will be expensive but guaranteed to not have any nasty surprises.
It would nice to have one which is expandable as experiments become more complex than purifying reagents. But quality is a must I don't want to waste
money on something that is going to fall apart on me instantly or worse find it wont take any heat or self destructs on contact with dilute acid etc.
Sorry if this is very boring to you experienced guys will all the kit you could ever need but google Chemistry sets/Labware and you will see what I
mean.

I got some test tubes and some 500ml beakers that seemed ok.. i havent tryed to do anything particuarly outlandish with them. just hold stuff and heat
stuff

Thanks to all the people that replied. For those of us in the UK (poor soles as far as glassware is concerned) http://www.timstar.co.uk/ProductsList.aspx?cat_id=4982 don't delivery 'Chemicals' to private addresses.' or anything else it seems. Which is
amazing as the most dangerous chemical I have seen them sell is WD40 - yep the stuff for spraying on squiky hinges etc.
So it looks like http://www.unitedglasstech.com. They sell on the bay so I think they will ship to anywhere.
Their joints trouble me. Recently their web paged stopped proclaiming 'no ground glass joints... all nylon bushings' (Is that a selling point?)
I am sure it's ok as their rep is so good and will hold up as long as you don't put HF in it or something but they look a little weird being used to
quickfit.
Any constructive comments or alternatives would be welcome.

In the UK www.thelabwarehouse.com - expensive but stock all sorts (will take you ages to go through all the Quickfit stuff they supply). Bought some
glassware from them no questions asked, next day delivery if in stock and well packaged . Do actually state they supply to private individuals

MHO thier catalog and websites worth visiting thier actual labware is very limited and in the main Bomex.Ive used and abused thier inexpensive
labware, bomex beakers up to 2 L w/o complint or failure despite some extreme excursions w/strong acids/heat.Sep. funnel was entierly
adequate,thermometers,all very basic but an inexpensive starting point.Protective chem gear,many other items to long mention but also an interesng
selection of power supplys/electronics.
And if nothing else thier customer service is w/o peer.Defective items replaced w/o question or return of original as well as postage paid.
Simply complaining phone call, order # and the item appeared at my door w/in a week,no questions asked.I like that kind of customer service,rare these
days so I first look to see if by chance they may have come across and have in stock something o suit my needs before moving on.And sometimes they
have exactly what I need(or adaptable) at a good price.
