actually i want to seperate a sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide mixture that is sold OTC, each one of these chemicals by themselves are much more
useful to me than mixed together

It's not going to be practical to separate them. Since NaOH and H2O2 are so readily available, I can't imagine a scenario where you
wouldn't be better off just getting the individual ingredients.

sure h2o2 is available by itself. in low concentrations. but good luck finding it in a 30% concentration mixture like it is in this sodium hydroxide
and hydrogen peroxide mixture

Hate to burst your bubble, but it's not hard to find in 30%. People use it as a concentrate for the antibiotic. It's used in swimming
pools for I don't know what. (clarification of water?) People use it for health reasons, as it actually drink it, diluted of course. The list
keeps going. I've heard 50% is comercially available. Oxyplus I think is the brand name. I think it's an Australia thing mainly, if I do
recall.

hey asshole
Keep it civil .
The only OTC product I know of that uses H2O2 and NaOH together is 2 part wood bleach. Is this from a wood bleaching kit? If so, I'd be very
surprised if the H2O2 and NaOH were already mixed. Alkaline H2O2 tends to decompose rapidly. Every wood bleaching kit I've found that has H2O2 in
it stores the H2O2 and NaOH solution in separate bottles, to be mixed up right before use.

Peroxide can also be found at some farm supply stores. Look for dairy farm cleaners like oxyguard. If it's blue and starts with oxy look at the
label. also look in beauty supply stores(professional)they usualy will have it also. Sodium hydroxide is avail. in drain cleaner,it's also called
lye the stuff i got is red devil brand, and got it at meijers.

You can make NaOH from saltwater. The water/salt concentration has to be heated
because you have to get 1 part of salt into 1 part of H2O.
While keeping the solution heated you have to run a current through the mixture.
It has to be a strong current.
You seperate the NaOH from the HCl using a baster

If i needed a small amount of HCl for
crystalizing i would do it.
I would make Hydrazine Hydrate instead of
Hydrazine Sulphate. What the hell are you going
to do with Hydrazine Sulphate?
I would rather snort morphine pills than
work with sulphuric acid
Where does the third oxygen atom come from
in the equation NaCl+H2O=NaClO3 + H2

I'll be careful next time.
Just like if i want to precipitate
NaOH at a 30% ratio.
I would take 100 ml of the solution to
1500 ml of a 3% NaClO solution to get my
NaOH precipitate.
That is NaOH + 15NaClO=whatever

Some hydroponics suppliers sell reasonably concentrated H2O2 as 'liquid oxygen'.
