What is rather more interesting is that these volumes are scanned from the Emil Fischer collection, which was donated by his son Prof.Hermann Fischer of Basel, Switzerland.

Anyway in case anyone is confused:

A volume (Band) of this journal is 2 or more issues, not a year. Each of these pdf's contains two Band, so at least 4 issues and not necessarily a full year. Archive.org identifies these pdfs by year, which is obviously not helpful. I am renaming the files by the first volume number, transposed from Roman to arabic numerals, so for example Bd171.pdf contains Bd 171 and Bd 172. So far I have not encountered any pdfs starting with an even numbered Band.

I am going to post these on 4shared numbered this way to make it easier for anyone to find a particular volume they want.

The quality of these scans is very good.

I have finished downloading these, and by my count about 22 Band are missing from this 32 year period. A Band is a quarterly volume, 4 per year, usually 3 issues each, so this is a very incomplete archive. Every year is represented, though, from 1842 to 1873.

It is possible I missed a few, but there are only 58 pdfs, and I have 55 plus 4 duplicates. And of the 55, two are supplements. So that leaves 53 pdfs containing 106 Band when 4 x 32 = 128.

In the period 1842-1849 there should be 32 Band and there are only 26 found. The missing Band are 43-44, 65-66 and 67-68. (That is how they would be paired in the missing pdf's.)

In the decade 1850-1859 there should be 40 Band and I find only 30. Missing are 83-84, 85-86, 89-90, 93-94 and 99-100.

The 1860s are substantially intact, missing only 115-116, and 139-140, so 36 out of 40 Band are accounted for.

The 1870s only extend for a period of 5 years and end with Band 172, two band short in 1874. Those would be Bd 173-174.. Year 1873 is missing Bd 167-168,

Overall this collection is about 80% complete for 1842-1874. It is of note because these copies were the property of Emil Fischer. Because the scans are excellent they make a good acquisition and hopefully other sources will turn up so the gaps can be filled in and coverage extended.

Hello,

Some reading here

For many years, Current Separations has been the journal of the research laboratories of BASi, covering a wide range of topics such as in vivo sampling, microdialysis, liquid chromatography, electrochemistry and liquid chromatography/electrochemistry. The journal ceased publication in 2007, but hundreds of articles have been archived electronically for your reference.

It appears that as of the past couple hours all of Springer's journals from 1/1/97 to present are freely downloadable courtesy of ITALFARMACO.

Until they fix that.

EDIT: they have now fixed that.

While following references from the paper procured for me by KmnO4, I came across archives of this journal.

Quick browsing revealed that all back issues from vol 1 (1916) to vol 84 (1999) are freely available.

I don't think it is availble already, .......
I can spare some time over the next few days so I will get what I can.

Hi! seeing you active after long time :)

Archives of CHC - The Journal from volume 1 (965) to volume 42 (2006) were posted by KmnO4 in the Full journals..... thread quite a while ago. It is possible that those links are broken now, but the archives are available and can be shared. So I think we should expend our energies in downloading the volumes 43 onwards. I am certainly prepared to chip in and can undertake the downloading for the volume 43 (2007).

good luck :)

Available here:

Surely the wrong place to ask, but is the Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data available?
