I have used a complex diamine before that was about $10/g and at one point had 4 gallons of it that someone had special ordered, and only used a
fraction of, worth about $16,000, as trying to return it for a refund...
Used to fret over chemicals that cost $100 or more, in last few jobs, I have spent $10,000 or more on rare sulfonyl chlorides, chiral amines, sets of
DNA starting materials, non-natural amino-acids, and other rare chemicals. But most were project critical for a big project, and that turns out to
be a small price compared to other big corporate costs. Worked at IBM 3 decades ago as a coop, and made about $10 million in chips a day. One
reagent we used as $300/gallon, and we used about 24 gallons a day in one process, which was done in multiple places a day. I found a way to cut
that by 3 gallons a day with no change in the process, and saved about a million per year for them. I got a nice thanks for it... After those
things everything seemed cheap.

Oh well, at least I didn't buy when it was $10,000 an ounce! |
Now your bar of rhodium is worth about $26,000 based on the current spot price.
Nuclear physics is neat. It's a shame it's so regulated...
Now that I think about it, that's probably a good thing. Still annoying though.

A few months ago I bought 1 mg of recombinant BMP2 for $5200. (I didn't pay for it personally, this was NIH grant money for my research.)

Gaboxadol is quite an expensive compound, but not nearly as others out there. It is just one I ordered in bulk before.
You are the same perception looking out, from the same elements around the universe.
You are everything to be anything to begin with.

Thats pretty expensive for such a weak LSD analogue!
I think the most expensive thing I ever bought was palladium foil?
I don't remember the price, but it was like 60€ for 1,8g or so, which was actually not that expensive.

As always price depends on quantity one buys, one can get it for 80k-19k/g before it is considered wholesale, of which I have no idea about pricing.
It is hard to judge actual amount on a bottler, And I have never checked if there are really 100 ug of substance on it and between different bottlers,
but if I can trust the supplier that there really is 100 ug substance on each bottler there was no significant diference between 1P, 1CP and regular
LSD based on "research" I personally have done. But there is no scientific value for this statement.

Aluminium at first times it was more expensive than Gold... is a question of supply and demand :-)
buy low, sell...
if I can time travel in the 80's I think, with Gold at 30/oz I buy tones and sell it now at 1500-2000 :-)
yes, I purchased Gold at 1500€ :-(
And speaking of Gold, what metal do you think the same thing will happen to him soon? what metal is used in good amounts is necessary for rockets and
all this space race?
Rhodium?
Palladium?
Platinium?
...?

Iridium , helium (colling in fusion will need a lot of helium) , copper (renewable energy systems needs copper) .
Anything is used in HDDs, SSDs (Chinese new cryptocurrency) and in chips .

I think my piece os iridium is the most expensive I have. About 1 gram, worth about $350. Well, I also have about 1 gram of platinum, osmium,
rutenium, gold and palladium, but not rhodium... My ampoule of cesium is worth about $100 also.
But if you count some substances, I bought for example 150 µg LSD for $10 a couple of yeras ago. And I had 0,26 µg of Am-241, it's high kilo-price
for that...

For us, I would have to say 2.5L of 20% Oleum - after the price itself which was north of $600, plus fees, special packing and shipping (hazmat
freight ONLY), it was over $1000.
Of course, we've bought 55 gallon drums, etc that cost more total but on a per ml basis, definitely Oleum.
