It's not an assumption. We've seen you caught in all kinds of lies and shady transactions.
Have you forgotten your research lab license? We haven't.

We've told you that these parts are rare/scarce, or are in use. Best bet is to keep an eye out on ebay for someone selling the set of glass you need.
And kclo4: yes he means mine, he's just using k3wl language :/

All right, I noticed it before in a thread I was skimming and wrote it off as some sort of brand haha and I just wanted confirmation that he actually
meant mine.

Picric-A if you can't get them form Buchi the only option left is keeping an eye open for them on surplus sites. Possibly Buchi does a glassblowing
service and maybe able to make you the parts, although expect to pay something like £250 for the condenser!!!

And then he needs flasks too, and the gaskets/connectors/seals. Sounds like an expensive job.
Although having the condensor made at the glassblowers allows you the option to do away with 50% of the gaskets and screw joints, as you can replace
one with a standard taper (the vac. release valve) and the other with a spherical joint (as common with rotovaps for the collecting flask). However
these will require some kind of vacuum grease to ensure a good seal.

You're wrong unfortunately. The standard taper piece you have there screws in, and is used as an alternatice to the screw threaded distilling flask I
have. I know because mine (note: spelling) came with one. Try it, you can screw it out. There should be a white PTFE washer in there too. You need 3
of these for sufficient sealing in the whole glassware setup (one for collecting flask joint, another for the vacuum release tap joint).

Wrong about what? sorry i dont quite understand. Does that mean i cant use a standard quickfit 14/23 flask with the rotovap?

Sorry I should be more clear. Although you have a 14.5/23 ST joint on there, the rotovap was designed for use with a threaded flask. You should have
no problems using a B14 flask on there, but I think you have slightly bigger obstacles to overcome first...
And you also need the collecting flask which is threaded, hence my comment about having a custom spherical joint put onto your custom condensor (if
and when you have one made).

I think you underestimate the complexity of the apparatus. I have pictures but they are far to big to post. And a bit blurry in instances. But
panziandi has seen them and he can testament as to how much work this is going to need and also how much it will cost.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply but i have been away, the glassware i had seen some on ebay (uk) not too long ago! I also saw some ob labx i think. Its hard
to find like everyone said! What you might look into is getting it custom done, ask a few companies and stuff (Buchi usually give out size and
measurements of the flask with no trouble, otherwise just say you need them because your one is a bit broken and you need the dimensions for the
glassblower.
Either ways, its a bitch to find glassware for this baby! But it is really nice Like Andy, i will stick to my other rotovap
