Lots of theory, not much practice.
Hello everyone,
I found your site by chance tonight, although it probably has something to do with the fact that i'm doig my final chemistry exam tommorrow afternoon
(english A - levels.)
Anyway, it also happens im going to university to do chemistry next september. School, especially the one i go to, sucks. Chemistry for the last three
years has been about alot of theory and i've done only six experiments - at a stretch, none of which i can remmember with any clarity.
This summer might be a good time for me to get my hands dirty and start living the chemistry i do at school. I just wanted some advice on a chemistry
set for me to buy and/or some experiments that i might want to try from home. I'm a beginner in a practical sense but my understanding is pretty top
notch.
Thanks for your imput,
(small) explosions would be great,
KuDeTa

Welcome on this forum, and I hope you will enjoy it and will contribute to it.
I wrote a webpage for people who want to set up a home lab with some basic equipment, and some chemicals to start with:

Hopefully this page helps you a little in the right direction.
