would tobacco smoke qualify?
I have read somewhere that Mushrooms can contain Hydrazine, I`m not sure if it`s a particular sort or certain conditions that cause this though.
alylisothiocyanate I believe is considered a potential carcinogen too, it`s found in Mustard and Horse radish.

Doesn't need to be the smoke even - nicotine.

IIRC, Nicotine Isn`t the carcinogenic part (it`s just the addictive alkaloid part), it`s the Rest of the junk that comes with it that`s harmful.
I could be wrong tho.

Yea - the snoke and other crap is bad - but nicotine on its own is also a carcinogen. Just one drop of the pure stuff on your skin can be very bad.
I'll rake out an MSDS for it.
- That's a surprise - sorry - I can't find anything (in the 3 mins I've been looking) that say's it's carcinogenic - only highly toxic!

OK - some say posible carcinogen - espescially for nitroso derivitives etc..

as i have done quite a bit of research on nicotine in the past few wks, i do know that it is extremely toxic. most articles say that between 50 and 60
mg can be a leathal dose to humans because of the way it inhibits oxygen transfer to red blood cells and its ability to inhibit nurotransmiters in the
brain. as far as being a carcinogen, most studies indicate that it doesnt affect cancerous cells, therefore it is not considered one. probably the
best site to find common knowledge information on this is here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicotine
and here:
http://health.howstuffworks.com/nicotine.htm
in cigaretes, what would be considered the carcinogen would be the tar and ash inhaled while smoking.
on another note, outside of the irritating effects of certain types of poison ivy and oak. the smoke that is given off by these plants can have
carcinogen like effects, or so my doctor has told me when having to treat me for my last major outbreak.
and here is a short article about some natural carcinogens
