Glucic acid (tartronaldehyde)?

Anyone got any info on glucic acid (tartronaldehyde). wikipedia doesn’t say much like what properties does it have or the preparation in detail.

Try Google Scholar. The first paper that comes under "glucic acid" (with the quotation marks, otherwise it will not be much help) is E. K. Nelson, C. A. Browne, The Properties and Chemical Constitution of Glucic Acid. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1929, 51, 3, 830–836.

There may be more info inside one of the organic chemistry books in the Library.

Merck Index has nothing.
