ChemDraw replacement?
Quite a few years ago I introduced the free version of ChemDraw here to SM.
Then my long hiatus and two laptops turned to ewaste down the line and I don't have ChemDraw anymore.
The latest versions aren't free (rather pricy, in fact!)
So what do you people here use for free chemical drawing software?

I use ChemSketch.
Please remember: "Filtrate" is not a verb.
Write up your lab reports the way your instructor wants them, not the way your ex-instructor wants them.

Marvin Sketch is another decent one that I used to use, before I got full access to ChemDraw through my university.

I probably have an old executable that you can use to install. On holiday at the moment. U2U me if you want it. I may forget.
Most if my need is for ball and stick models. I use Webmo. Yhe web version has a free demo mode. The phone app cost me a few dollars and animates
molecular vibrations. It is pretty cool.

BKChem is a decent FOSS molecular drawing program. A little rudimentary compared to ChemDraw, but still it can do the basic things that make up 95% of
what you need such a program for.
