Insulating Pipes and Tubes - Which Pipe Insulator to use?


there are a couple tubes and pipes which reach temperatures of
-20C up to ~150C.

whats are some high temperature pipe insulation materials
that are easily available and dont cost and arm and leg?

I buy fiberglass pipe wrap - good to at least 600C.
It is fiberglass insulation and the last roll I bought was about $8.

You can also buy automotive exhaust system wrap.
That is more like 1000C or higher.
