Importing into the UK

Has anyone tried importing anything from the EU into the UK since Brexit earlier this year and if so what was their experience?
Similarly is there any recent experience of buying from China (via Ebay or otherwise) since Brexit and the VAT/tax changes?

i can tell you for content at 115kg from china to europe i paid about 1k euro for the import papers and then i got an additional 350e fine from taxes
you might wanna talk to someone whos got a company, they can help you get it home a bit cheaper, now i dont know if the UK is hit by same as i was but you wanna make a few calls before you order home bulk quantities of anything.
you could try searching for a freight forwarder and hear them out, theyre the people who unlock the containers and send it off to your door
