It's expensive because it can be. As was previously mentioned in this thread, we've been told from childhood that in order to succeed you HAVE to get
a high paying job, to do that you HAVE to get a good degree, for that you HAVE to get into a good school, that is if you can even afford it. People
will pay a premium if they think they need what you have.
