Reactions of mixed anhydrites
I did not managed to find much information about mixed anhydrites.
If symmetric acid anhydrite (say acetic anhydrite for example) is reacted with alcohol then one "half" of anhydrite reacts with alcohol and forms
ester and another "half" of anhydrite becomes an acid.
What if for example acetic benzoic anhydrite would be reacted with ethanol? What will be products for this reaction? Mixture of ethyl acetate and ethyl benzoate +
acetic and benzoic acid or only one ester and one acid?
And would be crated if this mixed anhydrite would be used for friedel crafts acylation?

In general the product will be a mixture. If one side is more hindered than the other, the ratio could change.
