Rocker 300 vacuum pump problem


Hello everyone.
I have problem with my diaphragm pump Rocker 300. Namely when i turn it on it starts to choke and after short amount of time it dies down and just mutters.
But when I apply pressure it works normally.

The exhaust valve is probably sticking. Pull the head off and check the exhaust valve.

Thank you very much!!! This is my first pump and I'm not very familiar with vacuum pumps.

It turned out that my exhaust valve was totally clogged with something of consistency of wet sodium ethyl sulfate. Have no idea how did it get there as the pump has filter.
I cleaned it up and my pump works as new :D
