Naphtalene derivates
Hello all, since most of naphtalene derivates that i need are not made yet or are too expensive for my intentions, like 1,3MD-Naphtalene or
Ethyl-Naphtalene or 1,3difluoro-Naphtalene, i am intrested can you sugest me anythink simple for preparation of these naphtalene derivates, i have
found one possible aproach starting from benzenes, but it involes 3-4 steps, did anyone have ideas for possible routes to naphtalene derivates.
Also i am curious, what positional isomer will give these naphtalene derivates afther FC alkylation, like 1,3MD-Naphtalene alkylation with
bromoacetone, will it give the corespoding 3,4MD-Naphtyl-Ketone ?
