Preparing NPK , Neutralizing Salts
Well , i thought i would put the two questions within one thread... saving some space
I know that you would say that is not mad science but people here knows a lot
#1
I'm preparing some NPK 10:10:10 , everything goes well as i know each ratio of available element but problem comes with the phosphoric acid i
bought ... the anhydrous form have 46% of available P for the plants...... the man gave me a bottle full of a solution and told me thats phosphoric
acid... now what is the ratio of P in phosphoric acid solution? so i can calculate how much i need...
#2 whenever i make a salt of a base and some acid .... when i evaporate i get a salt with a soapy feel i think it is not neutralized ...
I heard that compounds reacts according to its equivalent weights ... how to apply that? and get a neutral salts?
P.S. i am sorry that all i am doing is taking and not giving anything

You have to measure specific gravity by weighing known volume of solution. There are tables available for determing conc. by specific gravity. (I can
upload if you need it) Another way is to titrate solution with NaOH but i do not know how concentration is computed in case of phosphoric acid.
#2
This may be due of impure reagents or not exact neutralisation. More can be sayd if you tell what exactly you do. I once got "soapy"
product when synthesising aluminum sulfate by dissolving precipitated gelatinous hydroxide in sulfuric acid.
Some salts adsorb water from air and are always wet if you do not keep them in dessicator.

#1 Well is it that simple? lets try it ... please upload that tables...

Thats not the case ... i know it is neutralisation issue because i don't measure .... i just put some acid and some base and viola!

H3PO4 concentrations by specific gravity.
Columns in tables are: specific gravity, % by weight, mol / l, g / l

I cannot do it ... i will weight a known volume and what to do with these 3 tables?
