Physiostigmine

i have heard rumours that not only can eserine (physiostigmine) potentiate learning and memory, but it can somehow activate rna and possibly encode memory in a genetic fashion. my interest was peaked since it looks like a cyclized and functionalized 5-meo-alkyltryptamine.
of course the rumour could be insanity, it went on about the aliens manipulating the human genome, but still an interesting compound none the less.

google turns up relatively few hits, and all the good ones are unacessable journal entrys.
anyone got a synthesis or some juicy tidbits about its rna/dna manipulation or memory abilities?

If you provide the journal references people here could get the full texts for you. Several people, myself included have access to university journal archives.
