P-Anisidine in water
Hello Everybody,
I am wondering how p-Anisidine (C7H9NO) looks like dissolved in water? The solution gonna be colored?
I have not found any information about it so far.

p-Anisidine is only very slightly soluble in water and if pure is colourless but like most simple aromatic amines it tends to oxidize to strongly
coloured substances so is usually brown unless freshly prepared. It is soluble in dilute mineral acids though but the colour tends to go with it into
the aqueous acid phase and colour it brown too.
