Im finding out now that salicylic acid from willow bark is exxxtreemely hard to get a good yield from. Something to consider would be decarboxylating
it and distilling phenol from the extracts.

This is because Willow only contains salicin, which the body converts to salicylic acid. I will have to do some experiments. Luckily there are many
willows and poplars here.
