facts is the MO your kind loves but it destroys all credibility you may believe you have. So does your never ending treatment of members with utter
contempt, as with your use of 'dear' (which by the way you can shove). Your nonstop insulting members and contemptible treatment of others strips any

Actually I do my own work because I don't trust the certified mechanics to charge a fair price.
Now you really didn't deserve that answer because I know you are just trying to lash out, no matter how poorly executed, but I thought you should
know.
And I'm not even close to suspicious of AGW, I know they are absolutely full of shit. So do they, that's why they were caught discussing how best to
perpetuate the lie.
Answer me this: Why are the qualified climate scientists that want nothing to do with the global warming crowd dismissed as crackpots? Oh, that's
right, the global warming crowd (and Lindsay Graham) said the science is settled. Anyone who disagrees is supposed to be called a name, just like
those who don't embrace homosexuality as "special" are called names.

The other day I heard some interesting discussion on NPR about the latest observation of warming in the North pole and cooling in Antarctica based on
a 65,000 years of temperature history taken from a very long ice core sample!
Apparently, the scientist says that one must envision a flexible seasaw relating to complex ocean temperature transmission between the poles via ocean
currents that sink on the way down from the north. The expected lag between rises in one pole being observed in the other pole is said to approach 200
years based on history, so in the interm cooling could be observed in the opposite pole.
My take on the bottom line important to survival, extreme weather events in the northern hemisphere due to rising ocean temperatures may not be
manifested at the other end of the globe for a long time! Given the apparent 100+ year lag, the wise should quietly relocate to land masses near the
opposite pole with average drop in temperature being witness.
With respect to the debate on global temperature change, this finding, in my opinion, is not kind to either side. It seems to me, given the underlying
global dynamics on ocean temperature transmission rate, that one should be using a rolling 200 year average of points symmetrically chosen around the
globe on ocean temperature (which likely does not exist). Otherwise, you just talking about short term local weather effects.

Here’s the self-proclaimed expert, tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist and general nutjob ‘franklyn’ with enthusiastic support for the Pakistani
water car, a scam so pernicious and damaging for Pakistan’s scientific reputation that it caused serious ripples in that country’s Government:

part combusts 2H2 + O2 from an 2H2O electrolyser powered by the alternator. I had invented that myself when I was 11 years old ( or perhaps
re-invented it ). I enthusiastically proceded to the engineering library to meta reasearch the technical aspects ( that's what one did back then, the
only people that had on line services was NORAD). I soon discovered the best one could expect is such a scheme could only make perhaps a 1/4 of what
is consumed.

Yes, HOW indeed is the HHO scam related to Waqar’s whacky car? ROFLOL! Waqar also stated that the laws of thermodynamics did not apply to his
invention! That’s kind of true since as his ‘invention’ was a scam from start to finish.

This seeming umbrage and vendetta against what is for now just an eccentric curiosity, which much to their delight is certainly to be bogus.
This is anti - intellectualism of the highest order , the incessant pillorying of the topic so that it be put into detritus is the self evident proof
of this.

Having dug a deep hole for himself, our resident nutzie doesn’t mind digging a little deeper:

‘Where’s the beef?’ ‘Where’s the clamor?’
Answer: on the Pakistani side of the Tinkerwebs, you FOOL. Where you forgot to look but I didn’t (see the end of that thread).
So here we have it. Franklyn endorses a lone and quite vicious scammer whose claims anyone with a basic understanding of the conservation of
energy can see right through, yet claims to have sufficient understanding to condemn the work of thousands of ACC scientists as a ‘hoax’, on a
scale that would make the (non-existent) “9/11 conspiracy” blush...

There isn't any actual Science going on in this thread.
My opinion is that the effect of the naturally occuring species, humans included, have very little effect on what the Planet as whole does anyway, and
certainly cannot divert that process.
I cite the discovery of a succession of Ice Ages, interspersed with warmer periods such as this past millenium.
'Climate Science' is a bit vague and not really capable of being actual Science IMHO, as it simply has not been studied for long enough to have
sufficient data.
In summary, All arguments about the Global Climate are worthless, as they are groundless, given that there is no accurate Global Climate Data covering
the past 100,000 years to be analysed, and no significant modulation of the output of human-produced products in isolation from non-human products.
So far, all we know is that it gets cold enough to form ice, and then hot enough to melt it in cycles of hot/cold spanning 1000s of years each cycle.
Add in a stray asteroid or enormous volcanic eruption, and even those assumptions float out of the window.
Basically, we know very little so far, so i'm more with Bellamy on this one, in that i do not accept that there is any significant actual Scientific
data to be relied upon to make a definitive statement.

Says a nutcase who doesn't accept the laws of thermodynamics.
Knowledge of the future is not completely beyond human ability. Of course if you want to bet that water cars like Waqar's will one day be possible
you're betting on the slimmest of odds, that seems to be your thing.
As regards 'obsessive compulsive', who here keeps on link spamming almost random links, in the full knowledge that anyone else could do that too, of
course (is that what you want because I could easily oblige, you know?). You've made your point, maybe it's time to give it a rest.
I do NOT claim certainty re. ACC, nor do the scientists themselves. It's YOU who claims to KNOW for CERTAIN the science is a hoax. This has already
been dealt with higher up.
You remain almost universally despised on this forum. Bweurk!!!

You make this argument each time you don't understand something. See also GMO. At one point also QM. Who are you to judge whether something has been
studied for long enough? You're also in NO position to judge what constitutes 'actual science'.
The argument that 'it's not been researched enough' has been used historically against anything from vaccinations to electric pylons, BTW...
You're entitled to your opinion but if I have to choose between your kind of fluff and decades long of thorough research I know the choice is real
easy to make.

Hissing:
LOL, you leftie freaks are a hoot.
Instead of questioning the obvious (where is there any evidence that Ulyanov's birthday has anything to do with the scheduling), you use the leftie
playbook guideline "if you are uncomfortable with any published account, look for spelling, grammatical, or other flaws you can use to discount that
which inflames your sensibilities".
But here's the deal: Who the fuck cares if Franklyn misspelled not one but both names? Were you unable to immediately make the connection, did the
misspelling throw you for a loop? Did it take you hours and hours of research to finally decipher who he was talking about?
I understand Franklyn is really not capable of making a solid case that will cause you or any other climate lie worshipper to rethink their position,
but that's not Franklyn's fault, nor the fault of the linked materials. The problem lies in your utter and complete NEED to embrace climate change as
a religion.
You've been given instructions to ridicule and humiliate anyone or any group daring to oppose the view you've taken to heart, we understand that, and
we feel really bad for you. It must be hell being lead around by the nose by people who not only lie to you, but collude in order to perpetuate the
lie.
Your first clue should have been the fact that Al Gore's "hockey stick graph" was the original lie, and in fact the genesis of this entire religion of
yours. In case you missed it, the "perfect alignment" of CO2 and temperature had to be skewed by 800 years or so to achieve that "perfect" alignment.
Your second clue really should have been "settled science". Settled by whom? Well, for people like you, "whom" is irrelevant because, well...it's
SETTLED! LOL
Your third clue should have been the "climate scientists" who are spinning this tale for your consumption declaring any scientist not agreeing with
their fabricated findings should be kicked out of research positions and/or being subject to revocation of their credentials.
Your high priests are actively seeking, each and every day, to keep you bowing at the altar of climate change.

Look, I confess, OK? Climate change theory IS a Cultural Marxist coup, designed to bring America the Beautiful to its knees economically and replace
Capitalism with Maoism/Stalinism/Islamism. So far Communist in Chief, aka The Ayatollah of Washington, Supreme Leader Hussein Obama, has been doing an
excellent job, so keep it up, Dear Leader! Let a trillion flowers bloom!
/satire off.
You're a right wing nut job of a particular variety. BTW, always avoid using the number "18" because it stands for 'Adolf Hitler'! Well known, that!
As regards 'Yoooooge Donald', all I can say is 'Trump for the Republican nomination!'. Yes, PLEASE! If that fails, let him run as an
independent. You do realise what both outcomes would signify, right franklyn?
@Varmint:
Has it ever, ever occurred to you that those who oppose the notion of man made climate change might actually be those who believe they stand much to
lose from reducing fossil fuel consumption? You know, like Big Oil? Do you see many in e.g. Texas that entertain the notion of ACC? Ask yourself why,
maybe? Or why there's such an extraordinary amount of resistance to ACC theory in the USA (compared to most of the West), a veritable fuel guzzler of
a country?

No Bloggie, that hasn't occurred to me. What has occurred to me is that no small number of those who want to believe in the junk science religion of
global warming have an ass on for the United States, and tend to discount the former glory of their homeland as "an illusion".
I also attribute the greater number of "deniers" in the US as an unexpected yet gratifying sign of superior intelligence. Now it might be a stretch
to equate simply understanding liars getting caught colluding on perpetuating the big lie as intelligence, but the rest of you leave us no choice.
You KNOW they were caught, yet you still treat it as an aberration, a minor upset?
Take a hike Bloggie. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Once you get back inside you can ponder whether the hike was really nice, or was it just an
illusion?

I did some Science today, and the temperature here is 1.4 C higher today at this time of day (same apparatus, location and temporal datum point used
in all 2 measurements) conclusively proving that the planet is warming up.
By extrapolation of this vast body of data, it will be 2.8 C higher tomorrow, and we will all be dead by a week on Thursday.
Measurements are ongoing. More tomorrow.
Christ, this Climate Science is scary.
