Salsalate synthesis


Can be salicyl salicylate made by heating salicylic acid in concentrated H2SO4? Or any other ways?

well salicylic acid decomposes into phenol and also phenol salicylate when heated, or at least a brown compound with high mp was supposed to be phenol salicylate
