5 Ltr rbf, hotplate, other bits too!

Got a superb quality used rbf here. No cracks, it is used however so not perfect. Excellent german quality. £25 plus shipping. If needed I can supply a reducer to fit thd neck so you can use your 24/29 glass with it, that would be an extra fiver. Not including shipping.

24/29 still head with 19/26 cone for condenser. B14 thermometer socket. Good condition. £12 or £17 with reducer to fit condenser arm with 24/29 glass.

500ml rbf pyrex £12

300ml liebig, 24/29 socket and cone, £20

500ml rotaflow dropping funnel, £10 as there's a chip right on the dripper. Still works fine though.

Would like to sell all the distillation equipment at once, can also include retort stands, clamps, water hoses etc! Message me to work out a price.

Hotplate, heidolph standard with the control unit and temp probe. Holds a solution within 1 degree for as long as you need. 1300rpm stirrer.
More details and pics. Not sure how much it's worth to be honest. I don't want a great deal for it, around 200? Fisher has it listed for over 1300 ;)

Please if anything sounds unreasonable make an offer!

Hate to sell but I've moved to a property with no outhouse for experimentation.

Surprised nobody is interested in the hotplate, it is an absolutely amazing bit of kit.

I'll stick it all on ebay, if anyone wants anything let me know for SM mates rates :)

here's the hotplate. caustic solution overflowed and damaged the teflon coating hence cheap price. doesn't affect usage though and new plates are available cheap enough if you wanted.

sorry didn't have time to clean it up!

200 quid or dollars?

Overhead stirrer is bloody expensive most of the times. 200 would be great if it was in North America....
Shipping would absolutely ravage the costs here. Sorry to see you selling, mate.

Yep certainly is a fantastic plate. It's magnetically stirred, the thing coming dowm sits in your solution to regulate the temp. Set it to 79'c and it will still be stirring away at that temp a week later ;)

Hopefully to gather some interest I set her up and took another pic plus a video so you can get to know her. It's just a simple nickel plate with a watts bath. Please note I wasn't trying to achieve s perfect finish just show the plate working. Stirrer is extremely powerful with the right bar.

I wpould love it. But even at the bargain price of 200 GBP plus significant shipping costs, it is beyond my budget. I am sure you will get some takers.

25g can of LAH by sigma-aldrich. Factory sealed. £25 plus 3.50 for postage to UK. AVAILABLE!

Here's the 5 litre german RBF. For £25 you'll get the flask, the cork stand and the 34/35 to 24/29 adaptor to fit your common EU glass sizes. :)

DA35 , 34/35 to 24/29 socket.

Set up with a 24/29 stillhead ready to go. (stillhead for sale still)

Of course if you buy an other item, I'll chuck in some edwards high vac grease and a big RBF specific cleaning brush to make life easy.

Also, I have some red PVC braided tubing with small clamps for the condenser end and adaptor to fit most taps of a usual shape. Doesn't leak at all and is a one step solution to cooling. £20 posted, around 3m each way.
