I am trying to make alcohol from alkene with the help of 9-bbn, in initial step is reduction of double bond followed by oxidation with peroxide. one literature provides the reduction step at 0 degree and second literature provide the reduction at 70 degree. what type of reaction it is, i can not understand. please help me to get rid of it.
