adaptor temp limits?

After looking for the max temperature nylon can be used at and finding varying limits I'm worried about the thermometer adapters I use. As far as I know the screw compression caps are made of Nylon but they use PTFE coated O ring to seal around the thermometer. Unless I am mistaken the safe upper limit for the PTFE is about 280 C. I don't know what the rubber is underneath but with the above in mind what is the max temp these adapters could be used at? I thank you and wish you the very best!
