Can anyone shed a little light on the reaction between brake fluid and pool shock treatment?

Uh? Mind explaining what the "target or goal" of this experiment is? What type of brake fluid? What type of pool shock? Jesus... Why am I even asking this....?

I haven't seen a stupider video. However: right on the same u-tube index page is an excellent treatise on obtaining elemental Bromine from NaBr or KBr. There's also one on making HBr I haven't watched but looks promising.

Google 'hypochlorite and polyethylene glycol reaction mechanism'.
