New to site (selling thousands of pieces of glass)
I am new to the forum - but i wanted to let everyone know that I am liquidating a large collection of glassware and equipment in the next month - it
is close to 5000 pieces (not counting things like test-tubes). Prices are about 30% less than buy it now on ebay.
We have a silicone research company and while the company was getting started we have helped the financing by purchasing labs and glass around the
country.
It is all quality pyrex kimax ace chemglass and each piece is cleaned and autoclaved before shipping, if your interested take a look at www.jacknmike.com or email me specifics of what your looking for lab glass, filters, funnels, misc bio reactors and chromatography accessories
galore.....
My goal is to sell everything before the end of the year as the new company is off the ground and ready to make it on its own with out the lab glass
supplementing.
There are thousands of pieces and a 40'x20'x10' warehouse filled with equipment that needs a home. If your in the bay area save a bunch on shipping.

Right now it is just shipping to the USA. The above prices include all shipping and insurance if you order 1 or 10. Plus if you order $100 you get a
10% off - each $100 after that.....I will post some other items soon when I find out if the members are looking for quality glassware. There are
many sites that we currently sell on such as ebay, labx and our own site www.jacknmike.com

These prices are way too high. Dr bob's price are much much better.
If you want to serve this amateur community of home chemist you need to lower your price to half what you are offering. Sorry, I wouldn't bite on
anything you've offerred so far.

Yeah I'd have to agree with everyone else. 20 for a ring stand? I can get one for 15 or 2 for 25 on eBay right now.

Do you got pressure tubes/bottles/vessels with teflon plugs? I would like to change from our currently used "bomb tubes"...
Found this on your site, the only problem is that there is no plug at the top. How much would it cost? And do you got any similar?
Also: how much do the cooling jacketed reactrors cost? Like this: http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8469/8093681753_94ba0da8a3.jp... And do you got smaller ones?

Hi sorry for posting on your site. Having my own research facility that develops new liquid silicone products have provided hundreds of other
companies universities and individuals premium quality clean sterile glass for the last year. I am unsure where ur getting ur glass or the condition,
but I have not found better prices that include free shipping and 100% return policy. It sounds like u have a great source and provider already and
really do not appreciate the anti welcome many have sent via email. Wow.
Any best of luck with your community. I am not interested and if the webmaster could remove my post it would be appreciated.

Yes, please do not drive people away. If the prices are too high for you, just don't buy, but there may be someone on here that needs something that
they have. And for people in the SF, Cal area, the shipping costs may be much higher for some items, and they may find that they can just pick up
items or get better shipping rates if they give combined shipping.
That is one issue when listing items with shipping, is that a single item will cost a lot to ship, since the minimum shipping cost for most items is
$5-10. So if you buy a ring stand only, the shipping may well be $10-20 for it. So if people like any of these items, ask for a quote for a list
of items and see if they can do combined shipping, as that would likely drop the price a lot. That is why I don't list shipping in the price, as it
varies so much, and can be very high for single items.

All the prices included shipping anywhere in the USA 50 states. It is mostly pyrex kimax ace and chemglass that are new or slightly used. Many of
the items are used by our research lab and then put out in the market.
It's difficult to put out a standard price as we have huge variables. Like I have 250 pyrex and vwr beakers that are at $2 each but kimax heavy duty
are $4 each. Sure u might be able to "buy" or "hunt down" something to use like a $15 ring stand on ebay but I am unsure of any chemist that is going
to put any item over 125ml on such a stand as a 18" tall rod will not handle a 3000ml chemglass funnel or a 20l reaction flask.
You can also hunt and find beakers for $1 with no certificate or history of the glass. I have an option to purchase 3000 pieces for $500 right now
from a company going out if business in the Bay Area. The glass unfortunately contaminated upon a sample testing of radioactive compounds. They did
not mention this until I questioned it. This among other glass will make it into the market in the next few weeks and be broken up and broken up
sold on labx and ebay.
If u want $1 beaker this is great appearance looking glass. But as a chemist have a neutral vessel to conduct experiments under a baseline is
critical. If you have zero quality control your results are flawed before you start. I conduct experiments with liquid silicone and have standards
that apply to all equipment bought used sold or kept.
But I will not ever sell inferior products. There is also no reason for us to fire sale or give garage sale pricing and will keep in my companies
inventory.
Our web site is www.jacknmike.com. All u have to do is ask for a quote we are happy to provide one. But will refrain from posting on here going forward. Best of
luck, m

jacknmike, Welcome to ScienceMadness.org! Please excuse the rudeness of the prepubescents. I look
forward to following your website for updates.
Pyro, you're from Belgium—so why the hell are you complaining about the prices? Nobody cares how little your
'new glass' Chinex cost you. Please keep your opinions to yourself, newbie. Advice: be respectful of others— that is, if you pyro/EM
trolls are even capable of feigning civility.
weschem, jamit, Mildronate; Likewise, please keep your baseless negative commentary to yourselves.
