U2U hijacking

This might be a double; I already remarked being pestered by U2U. I would like to see this addressed by the mods however as it represents an annoying change in the sites behavior. Whenever I log on if there are new u2u's I get a notice at every address change until I've answered or deleted the u2u(s). It's an unwelcome change. I'd like to have the option of turning off the pester function.

Could we at least talk about it?
Thanks, CRX

Check your setting for "U2U Alert Feature" in your user control panel profile. It sounds like yours is set to "on every page." You can set it to "no alert" if you don't want U2U messages to intrude.

Thanks for answered that, I have been driven crazy by that for a while now. I fixed it and will hopefully stay sane a little longer now.

Why not just answer your U2Us or at least acknowledge and read them?

It can be frustrating to send a private message to another member (which often take some time to write), only to have them ignore it..
