Vogel Text

Hey guys,

so I am wondering if Vogel is worth the hype. Is it worth the steep price? Organic is my life, so I mean it will likely be useful in grad school. But, I want to know what you guys think!

Hehe:)

I thought you wanted a paper version for your book collection (we all have one)...it's OK having digital books, but there's a certain charm about having a hard copy too.

I've hard copied the digital copy so I could have an at hand reference when I wanted it. Laser printers are great, it took a 5" D 3-ring binder to hold it though.

I still kinda do want the hard copy... I found one for $75 in well-loved condition. :) Might just have to get it...

Sigh... Why do you guys still recommend the third edition when the 5th came out years ago? http://www.sciencemadness.org/talk/viewthread.php?tid=4388&a...

Dang.. still too new to access the Reference section. ah well, I shan't be leaving here any time soon. As for the OP: in My opinion having a hard copy is always a good idea if funds are there . I've been having issues with Adobe reader not wanting to read the library copy I have here& had to download a completely new pdf reader just to read it so in short having a paper copy is a big plus.

Just as an update, bought the book, love the book in print and I am not sure that we have the 5th edition in the references anymore

Anyone else find it?

I strongly suspect that it is instead the fifth ed, in other words you still don't have access, so...
It's out there, here and there.

The link to the References forum or the link to Google documents inside that thread? If it's the first, then U2U an administrator to request access. If it's the second, I have no idea what could be wrong. It works perfectly for me.
