LiOH vs. Glass
Hey all,
Just a quick question; does lithium hydroxide react at all with glass like sodium hydroxide does? I have some aqueous LiOH and I'm wondering if I can
dry it in a glass beaker.
Thanks!

Probably yes, though less than sodium hydroxide. If you just want to get it out of solution, I don't think it will be a problem, but if you want to
dry it to its anhydrous form I think it might not be a good idea using a glass beaker.
