German chemical/glassware stores
Hello,
I am from the Netherlands, obtaining glassware and chemicals in this country is not really ideal, there arnt many suppliers that are willing to sell
to individuals, bad competition = bad pricing.
(there are some exceptions, but these are scarce)
So I thought about seeking out to Germany.
The shipping costs are very acceptable so thats no problem.
Can someone point me to some good suppliers that will sell to individuals and have decent pricing?
Thank you in advance.

PS my knowledge of the language isnt very good but I can read it a bit
Danke

Many German suppliers don't deliver to individuals (I don't know if this refers to glassware, but it certainly refers to chemicals). German
politicians are paranoid about illegally home-made explosives and pyrotechnics, so don't expect to get any common oxidizers (not even KNO3 and H2O2
>12%) sold to you (one of the few exceptions: Persulfates).

For those I have my adresses, again abroad.
Iam aiming more at apparatus/glass etc.
Or better yet just general suppliers.
What a fine day for chemistry this is.

Try Carl Roth, i ordered a vacuum distilling device and some phenolftalein, package came in a week and had in it everyting iv ordered.
Well to be honest they sent the package thru a different company i hadn't even heard of, but nevertheless i had vaccuum distillation device, untill i
accidentally broke it

I second that.
I also have a lot of glassware from marktplaats.nl, if you search with the right terms you can find really nice deals.

Go to versuchschemie.de and look for the "Bezugsquellenthread".
Most comprehensive listing of german suppliers of everything needed available.
/ORG
PS: I would not call Roth's pricing decent, tolerable in parts and excessive for the rest. But there is always Ebay of course....

LabChem Röttinger or Laborhandel Krumpholz.
The latter seems to have a very bad service, but my parcel was sent very fast, perfect.
