how difficult would it be to get a reagent for gold production
that's how you make the most of gold extraction is using complexation process.
i was wondering from any of you who own a company how hard would it be to import gold refining reagents.
but how practical is this logistically???
or, are there alternatives to mass gold production that does'nt involve suspicious chemicals?

225 kg of cyanide means a return of more then 100 kg of pure gold, supposing that your source of PM is concentrated enough.
Since you ask for other methods you clearly did't study the matter enough. This also shows you are not a refiner, and I'd even dare to say a company
owner for that matter.
Some people here had synthesized their own cyanide with the associate fear of dropping dead or being raided, while you're asking for an industrial
amount of this higly watched chemical in the most naive way.
You should really reconsiderate your views; even your silly post could be used in the court "in the case of...".
As for the gold fever, forget it. Do some serious panning first.
But it rather looks to me like you should refrein from posting when stoned.

I never had any trouble ordering kilogram quantity's of cyanide for the isolation of gold from electronics scrap. The company I order from simply made
a confirmation that the shipping address was to an actual business and not a residential or P.O. box. When they asked what it's intended use was I
simply told them it was for de-plating gold from scrap, and that was that.

yeah i was looking at a much larger scale and i thought it might raise some eyebrows.
i'm sure with the proper permits and licences it could be obtained for the purpose of extracting gold.
there might be some enviromental regs to worry about.
if it's for the furtherance of commerce i don't see a problem; this is a capitalist society, money comes first.
i mean for christ sake you can poison 3 year old childeren with psychotropic drugs and blame the parents under the guise of munchausen by proxy to
protect the almighty pharmaceutical corporation. (no exaggeration)
i don't see why a chartered corporation could'nt be allowed to use cyanide, if it turns a profit.
as long as the papers are in order and the relevant fees are paid, that is.

"as long as the papers are in order and the relevant fees are paid, that is."
That is the exact point. From your initial request you didn't seem to qualify by far. Othewise one can order even plutonium, with the proper legal
cover.

No, that penalty is for actually using sodium cyanide for predator control. *Declaring* that you intend to use it for predator control would, under
the circumstances, be exceptionally stupid; but would presumably just be a way to not get your order filled. I'm not sure why sodium cyanide should be
illegal to poison predators with, though. It's about as humane as you could expect a poison to be, and doesn't look like it should be a persistent
environmental hazard...
