Iodoform reactions

Is anybody in a position to try the chlorobutanol synthesis with iodoform instead of chloroform?

The iodo analogue of chlorobutanol does not show up on Chemspider, so either it does not form or it is undescribed. Chlorobutanol itself has a penetrating piney aroma. The aroma of the iodo analogue might be interesting.
