get mercury


where i can get mercury metal , i dont need a large amount , 10-20ml will be ok. It is for making a small scale sodium hydroxide factory. also wath common metal doesn't disolve in the mercury?

Edit: sorry, that provider only ships in the US, but there are tons of suppliers out there dude. You should have Zerotrouble getting mercury in Ca. Just look.

you could try getting some used thermostats at reuse store and break them open for the mercury
