Metal nitrates and organic peroxides.
I'm quite aware that HMTD reacts with metal. I'm wondering if HMTD will react with the potassium in potassium nitrate. The reason I ask, is
because I was thinking of using a KNO3 fuse with a HMTD blasting cap and I don't want to blow my fingers off.

No, it won't react with K+ otherwise you'd be in trouble everytime you neutralised your HMTD...
Closed, because this is (again) practical stuff.
Don't you people ever learn?
One shouldn't accept or resort to the mutilation of science to appease the mentally impaired.
