design equivalent circuit


i am about to start working on electrode fabrication for dssc solar cell. i want to learn how to design equivalent circuit model for the simulation. i appreciate you suggestion and comments.

What kind of model? DC? Nonlinear? AC? Frequency or time domain?

it was for both DC and AC type model. Now i came across some journals and found out how it is set up. thank you very every body.
