Electrolysis of NaCl in glycerol
I found that NaCl is soluble in glycerol. Can I do electrolysis in solution of glycerol and NaCl to make elemental sodium?

I know it is off topic but you can perhaps use Propylene carbonate instead if you can acquire it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_carbonate
