Calculate the detonation parameters of ENTA
1,1-(N,N-ethylenedinitramino)-3,3,5,5-tetraazidocyclotriphosphazene(ENTA) is novel energetic material .ENTA has been tested for medium
caliber stab detonators by SERDP PROJECT. Text
I want to calculate the detonation parameters(detonation velocity、pressure、heat、temperature。etc.) of ENTA.
BUT,WHAT'S the reaction equation of detonation???
ENTA contains phosphorus element !!! It's different from
common explosives that just contains C、H、O、N、elements
what's the final substance of phosphorus after detonation???
which is the right formula for calculating ENTA ???
It's VERY valuable to calculate the detonation parameters of ENTA
and ,the density、melting point、oxygen balance is not clear
can we discuss? can you give me some literatures about
above ?

Calculation of detonation parameters for non CHNO explosives is non-trivial. I do not think the most advanced software out there can do phosphorus
containing yet.
Of course, once the programs become available, having a density and a heat of formation is necessary.
But chances are, if it is being considered for stab ignitors, that VOD, det press, etc are unimportant here. I would not expect performance over much
above 8000 m/s, if it reaches that. Phosphorus is hardly energetic, and azides usually mostly have primarily a sensitizing effect, without
significantly boosting VOD.
No one is going to email you.

Do you mean it's no significance to calculate???
We don't calculate the detonation parameters of primary explosives?

A stab-ignitor is normally expected to produce a hot flame to ignite a propellant.
The material used doesn't work as a primary explosive. . .

C2H2O4N19P3—2CO+2H2O+19/2N2+3P
According the Brinkley-Wilson, I draw this formula, is it right?

Sorry guangdianlou208, I now see that ENTA is being considered as a green alternative to Pb(N3)2.
Your products look correct, assuming that P doesn't compete with carbon and hydrogen for oxygen.
But as The_Davster said, phosphorus will likely limit power and VoD somewhat.
It would probably though, have more power than Pb(N3)2.
