I know what it is, as do you, but other people here might not.
For those who are Drizzle disabled, it is a startup project making a machine that does 'natural extractions' of stuff like thyme, rosemary etc.
It's really quite a good machine.
Edit:
I do not possess one of these machines, so i am speculating.
In a brief conversation with one of their team they appeared competent.

Hi Aga.
Yes, I totally jumped the gun there
It is a continuation of a thread from summer - but I can see that is by no means obvious.
Aga said what needed to be said - thank you.
Sincerely
Bandil

Except that the previous iteration of this thread was explicitly cannibas related.

So, I'm going to say it's a soxhlet extractor, probably paired with either a Peltier junction or something similar for heating/cooling, and a vacuum
pump to manipulate boiling point. Divert the distillate back to the solvent holding tank on the last cycle to dry down the product oil.
Clever actually. But you'll never sell one to this crowd unless it's vastly cheaper than I think it is. If nothing else, we like to watch the
bubble-gurgle process. :-)

I would consider paying $200-300 tops for something like that. But I paid $40 for my sohxlet extractor so it would have to be pretty fancy... and
transparent. I like watching bubbles and percolations.
