What is it?

Found a very old tincan which was extrem heavy. Could have been paint or similar - by the can, but I date it as at least 30years old (from the place where I found it)
I think it is a plumbumbium containing compound - for the weight and for the skull on the can. :o

I won´t fuck around with this before not knowing more about it, so has anybody seen this already?

The colors are not perfect - It extreme orange in color, very intense.

No. I don´t know how it tastes.

The upper one in the second picture looks like catfood to me.

The left one seems like something sealed in molten glass.

Do you have a geigercounter?

Ahh, trial by combat- gotta love it. "I won because God made me win, so therefore I was obviously in the right."

Hmm, might I suggest qualitative analysis on this mystery chemical? I don't think they would store Uranium Oxide in a Tin can, would they? I believe they'd use Lead. But then again, I'm not sure =P.

Menninge

Bleimenninge. Don´t know the english word and my usual dictionaries either. I will try to find and add it later.
Lead/oxide paint for corrosion inhibition. In earlier times often and everywhere seen - the orange color is not to overlook. Also for ships often used - antifouling etc.

Thats the informational state of art.
95%+ probability.

Combat? Why combat? A fight wasn´t planned at all! We meet, some formal stuff, then I short but intense will worschtfinger him one or two times - done. Home for breakfast, what combat?
Next comes I shall give him a chance....
mishabits....
