How do you powderise substances?
For example, when you just brake some MgSO4 and end up with big chunks/stones of MgSO4, how to you go about powderizing it? I've been just putting
them in gladware bags, then rolling a heavy glass jar on them. It works well for small quantities, but for big quantities it takes ages. The same
problem would exist with a mortar and pestle. A blender would be good. Any other tricks for pulverising big chunks of compounds?

Buy a ball mill and chuck what you need powdered in it for an hour or two provided it isnt anything sensitive.
Be good, otherwise be good at it

I usually use a blender. I used to use coffee grinders, but they are harder to clean, hold less material, and are less durable.
Ball mills are super nice, of course.

Just to be annoying, I'll point out that the word is "pulverize".
Please remember: "Filtrate" is not a verb.

I toss it in the air, roundhouse kick it to dust, and then catch it all in a storage container before it hits the ground. If I need it ultra dry I'll
put it in a vacuum desiccator from there.
