Good Chemistry channels on Youtube (or other sites) - suggestions?
I'm looking for some good chemistry channels on YT so I can download the video for offline viewing (and when YT decides not to stream or keeps
freezing).
I'm planning on Nurdrage, Chem Player, NileRed, and Doug's Lab. I'm sure there are other good channels, even if they don't have as many videos as the
4 mentioned above.
I have a program that will allow me to download all the videos from one channel at once, at highest quality (or whatever quality desired), audio only
or video only and save it in avi, mpeg, flv, wma and lots of other video and audio formats.d It saves all the video names to a text file, then a
simple command within the command line with a single switch (tells to use the text file for input) and then the textfile. so "youtube-dl -a
videl-list.txt" and it will grab all the files in the list, update any newer files if you already have one and skip the ones you already have unless
otherwise instructed.
This is great for traveling where I don't want to waste wireless broadband at like $10 per Gb - I can put all of these on a small micro SD card or an
OTG USB drive (plugs right into tablet or cell phone) and holds 500GB of data!!
So, any suggestions for other good channels?
BTW, if yo do download YT videos (or Vimeo or other sites - this program works for a lot of sites), this program works so much better than browser
plugins that I have tried - like 20+ over the years and it is super fast.
If anyone has any questions on this software let me know and I can help you out. This now works on Windows but was originally for Linux...
Thanks!

Elch Science is good. The individual who runs it has an account here and posts once in a while.

AWESOME! I'm working on an archival process so if any of them get pulled off the network, there will be a backup of all of them.
I've found some online hosting services which allow for unlimited storage at reasonable prices so I'll be posting them there for future reference
should the need arise.
I think podcasts would also be something worth archiving but I have NO experience with chemistry podcasts if there are any. If anyone knows of any of
these which would be worth archiving, I would be happy to add those as well.

Most of my subs are chem related. Probably a significant amount of overlap with what has been written already.

ABSOLUTELY without a doubt, ChemPlayer, Nile Red, Doug's Lab, NurdRage.
Other great ones are Shiva Chemist, I AM Diablo (For energetics), Laboratory Of Liptakov (Energetics, very tidy), Explosions & Fire (Australian
man who got a hold of reagents).
And then there's myself, who can never compare to these beasts

I found a really cool youtube channel with hardly any views. https://www.youtube.com/user/ekuchemlab/videos
Its mostly lame university lecture stuff. He also documents his research project making ergovaline! Not the fun part, the boring part of the ergot
alkaloid. Seeing the lab technique is interesting

All I have seen suggested are YT videos. Does anyone know of some
good podcasts? Something a man can listen to at work, instead of the normal
ignorant BS

"AllChemystery" is a good channel.
"Antiprotons" if your into radioactive things. Good to listen to.
"AstralChemistry" preforms some pretty unique reactions like synthesizing hydrogen peroxide.

Not entirely chemistry but Applied Science is great. Also Cody's lab is full of interesting content.
