Locating Equipment
Greatings once again. As most of you probably know, I am new to this and do not know where I can obtain the necessary equipment. If anyone knows
suppliers, or if you have anything that you might want to sell, let me know

This supplier is excellent (I buy everything from them): www.sciplus.com
A good supplier of distillation equipment: www.unitedglasstech.com
I believe that www.pyrotech.org sells glassware. There is another good supplier, but the URL evades me...
I weep at the sight of flaming acetic anhydride.

www.pyrotek.org does sell glassware and chemicals, but their prices aren't very good. On the bright side, they don't really do any sort of age
verification and they accept paypal, so it's a good choice if you are too young to have a credit card. www.clayartcenter.com looks like a good source for a variety of chemicals if you can tolerate impurities (look under the materials -> dry
chemicals section). The Photographers' Formulary (www.photoformulary.com) also has a variety of chemicals, many of which you would otherwise have to order from a dedicated chemical supplier. The
prices are rather high, though.

OK what about chemicals
Ok, now I know where to get glassware, but where can I get basic chemicals at a reasonable price?

Did you miss the previous post? Online, you can get a variety of chemicals from www.pyrotek.org, www.clayartcenter.com, and www.photoformulary.com. There are other sources as well but these 3 places should easily supply "basic" chemicals.
Without going online, it's still possible to get quite a number of chemicals. Look at home improvement centers, drugstores, spa/pool centers,
hardware stores, paint stores, automotive stores, the cleaning aisle of the grocery store, and agricultural supply centers. Read labels. Download MSDS
sheets for products when you can. You can discover a lot of sources just by keeping your eyes open.
