anti suck back valve
Its probaly been suggested a few times already but my search failed to find it.
You can get an aquarium glass air check valve for about a pound. May be useful to stop suck backs if the opening pressure is not too high.
For example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CO2-Glass-Aquarium-Tank-Bubble-Cou...

The HHO-fueled-car crowd actually is good for something after all: making solvent-resistant check valves. They're made from a type of fluorinated
polyethylene that can have gasoline vapors flow through them, and at about a buck each, they're pretty cheap.
