Wanted: Mercury
I need a quantity of Mercury for an upcoming project. Before purchasing it I thought I would ask here if anyone has some they want to dispose of.
I'm in the Southeastern US and am in Nashville Tennessee or Atlanta Georgia depending on the week. I'm willing to travel some to get it.
Thanks!

I need less than 20 grams for this project, but I have a metal vapor lock dewar that will hold 30 kilos if someone is cleaning out grandpa's hazmat
closet.

If you don't find a donor then look online for a mercury sphygmomanometer. That will give you in the order of 20g. You occasionally see them for as
cheap as $30.
Mercury tilt switches are another option. Think of them as half gram ampoules and you have some convenient secure packaging thrown in.
