Sauron, I was wondering if someone would mention glycerol. As I said before when I worked in an optical lab we used it to heat the dye baths to about
125C. Honestly, I wouldn't use it past 150C or so.
I have access to triethylene glycol. I wonder how "safe" it is to have this stuff close to it's boiling point (considering it's toxicity).
