Need a reagent?

I hope it's not the wrong section, looked like the best suitable one.

Well, I got myself an awesome supplier, which has alot of hard-to-get chemicals(Ac2O for instance). If you are in a desperate need of a reagent, contact me and we could get on a deal. I will ship anywhere aslong as it is legal.

Are the prices reasonable? For example how much for 500mL of Ac2O?

Is it legal for you to resell?

Ac2O is about 7-8€ per litre.

and yes it is legal to resell. But I need to be sure if it's legal to ship to a given destination, then I will ship.

Hmmm. Never knew that Actinium Oxide was a liquid. I guess you learn something new every day. Do you have any Technetium compounds?

I think that Ac2O is in fact Acetic Anhydride, the Ac standing for Acetic. Might be a guess though.

I don't think there would be enough actinium at any given time on earth to produce a kg of Actinium oxide. And yes, it is for acetic anhydride. No technecium or any other radioactive metal compounds, sprry.

Ahhhhhh. Okay. I guess this a prime example of why the abbreviation for Acetyl isn't an IUPAC accepted abbreviation. :D

Actinium's half-life, for the isotopes isolated, is about 22 years and quite a bit can be made when needed (As it isn't difficult to synthesise). It's just that really isn't a need for it so nobody really makes any.
