It's not often I have to eat humble pie ,but i'd like to apologise to Andrew and argent scientific for my earlier comments . I've just completed my
second order with argent Scientific and found Andrew to be professional and his products to be top-quality. Andrew has a wide range of reagents and
his willingness to help the common man puts him well above the rest . If you are Need to purchase any reagents I strongly suggest you go and see
Andrew and will be doing so myself again in the future

I can obtain acetic anhydride (it is an indent item) but it is a category I drug precursor and can only be sold to a business with the provision of an
End User Declaration and 100 points of ID, just like LiAlH4.

Are you able to post any of your acids via courier ?
As i would be interested in the price of your sulfuric acid 98.5% LR x 2.5L and Nitric acid 70% LR x 2.5L, if not i wouldn't mind driving down if i
might get a good bulk order discount

Do you have anything you want to clear out of that might be worth shipping to the U.S.? Like... oh I dunno... carbon tetrachloride, carbon disulfide,
trifluoroacetic anhydride, TEMPO, DEAD, DIBAL, thionyl chloride?
I suppose I might as well be asking if you'd ship me some platinum at 50% spot price, but hey, it never hurts to ask

Carbon Tetrachloride - absolutely not. Has been controlled and regulated under environmental regulations (the Montreal Convention). I can not buy,
import or export it without extensive and expensive permits (several thousand dollars). Best avoided. It's also really, really bad for you - but you
know this.
Carbon disulfide - do not sell. Too dangerous. Try Sigma-Aldrich
Trifluoroacetic anhydride - can obtain but shipping will be expensive. Likely to be far cheaper in the USA
TEMPO, DEAD, DIBAL, thionyl chloride - I keep DIBAL-H (solution in Toluene) for activating Grignards but all of these are dangerous goods and shipping
is prohibitively expensive.
If you want organic compounds that are stable and not hazardous (various aldehydes and building blocks, I can obtain those for you)

Have fun there. I can say from experience that it is quite a nervous procedure and quite exciting once you get the metal distilling. I looked on your
website but can't find a list of products you have. Do you have a list anywhere online?

At the moment, i'm working to get the e-commerce solution up and running. There are some problems with currency conversion & a few other things.
I can obtain almost anything you require but if you would like a list of products currently in stock, I can send you a spreadsheet.
Just send an e-mail sales@argentscientific.com

We will be launching a new online store in the next week; worldwide shipping, custom products ordering and very easy order fulfilment. It has been a
difficult road to get this happening but testing is almost complete. All flavours of credit card, PayPal and bank wire all OK. Spreadsheet working
just doesn't cut it, and was only ever a stop-gap system until we could get a proper store sorted.
Initial product offering will be small to facilitate fast fulfilment (one of my guys has been working tirelessly to pack the countless bags, bottles
and drums of chemicals into proper chemical packaging). Several suppliers' entire product catalogues will be added to our store once things are
running smoothly.
Thanks for your patience. Also, feel free to check our store 'argent organics' on eBay.
If you have any questions: hello @argentscientific.com

Store is online and orders have been coming in for a while. A small selection of stocked products is in there, will be up to around 50 items by the
end of this week.
We are now manufacturing for much larger companies and the hobbyist thing is now a very small part of our business, but we're still here and can help
you to find reagents - no worries!
